About

I have been in the fitness industry for more than 30 years and a licensed healthcare provider for over 25 years. My education includes a BS in Exercise Science, MS in Sports Medicine, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Licensed Athletic Trainer. Working in a variety of settings has provided me experience with athletes of all levels from “weekend warriors” to professionals, Olympians to NCAA Division I. My medical ATC coverage of sporting events includes Nike “Hoop it Up” tournaments, Ultimate Frisbee, Pro Beach Volleyball, Boxing, Kickboxing, NCAA Division I men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, baseball and many more. Also, I was an integral part of developing an intercollegiate Athletic Training and fitness program, I have taught at the collegiate level and In 2001 he started PFX, an owner operated fitness and sports medicine facility. Now, as a manager for the NYAC, my primary focus is to promote sports, exercise and athletics of every kind and to encourage physical fitness.

Additionally, Steven provides ergonomic evaluation consulting for companies, reducing injuries and healthcare costs in the workplace. He developed Ladder Flexibility, a full body stretch program performed on Stall Bars as part of Stretch Solutions, his method for bringing flexibility and relaxation techniques into daily living. He also created Structured Anarchy, a micro-cycle periodization workout on the cutting edge of fitness.

I am blessed with a wonderful supportive family and two happy, healthy, active children.
