Expert Insights in Fitness and Sports Medicine

With more than 35 years in the fitness industry and over 30 years as a licensed healthcare provider, I bring a comprehensive, experience-driven approach to sports performance, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.

My background includes a B.S. in Exercise Science and a M.S. in Sports Medicine, along with certifications as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Licensed Athletic Trainer. Over the course of my career, I have worked with athletes at every level—from “weekend warriors” to professional and Olympic competitors, including NCAA Division I programs.

I have provided medical coverage for a wide range of sporting events, including basketball, soccer, baseball, boxing, kickboxing, Ultimate Frisbee, pro beach volleyball, and national tournaments such as Nike “Hoop It Up.” These experiences have allowed me to develop a practical, results-oriented approach to both performance and injury management.

Beyond working directly with athletes, I have been instrumental in developing intercollegiate athletic training and fitness programs and have taught at the collegiate level. In 2001, I founded PFX, an owner-operated fitness and sports medicine facility dedicated to helping individuals achieve their highest level of health and performance.

Currently, as a manager at one of New York’s premiere members-only clubs, my focus is on promoting sports, exercise, and lifelong physical activity for individuals of all ages and abilities.

Above all, I am grateful for the support of my family, and I take pride in having a positive impact on the people and world around me.
